We treat the bed and breakfast as your house; it is completely private, reserved for you. The parlor and dining room are yours to use whenever you'd like. We have a dog, cat and small child living in our quarters so the doors that ajoin our house with the bnb will be locked for our privacy and yours. Please call/text if any needs or questions arise during your stay.
We have done our best to make this as authentic as possible to the look and feel of life in a grand old stone house in the mid 1800's. You will not find whirlpool tubs, mini bars and flat screen tvs here. What you will find is the view of the world through old hand poured wavy glass. The house is furnished with antiques authentic to the time period that the house was built in. Each window and door was replicated to what would have been here 180 years ago. There are electric fireplaces in the rooms to furnish additonal heat during the cool nights and mornings and air conditoning units are also available for hot summer nights.
This is also a working farm where sheep graze, chickens run, and the bees are busy working the land. If you enjoy taking a step back in time, this is the place for you to enjoy the natural world and history of this extraordinary place.
